In order to enjoy Animelts, you'll need a way to heat them. A safe, soot-free alternative to candles, wax warmers have become widely available in a variety of sizes, colors, and styles. We don't carry them on our site (yet), but we're wax melting aficionados and are happy to help you find one! Below you'll find a brief overview of the different types of warmers available, along with links to some of our favorites.

Many fragrance warmers utilize small light bulbs to generate heat. Performance can vary depending on the wattage of the bulb, and bulbs require changing with continued use. Light bulb wax warmers are often elaborately designed and used as decorative lamps or night lights. This is the most common style of wax warmer, so there are tons out there to choose from.

This style of wax warmer utilizes an internal heating element to melt the wax, rather than a light bulb, so they produce no light and tend to have a lower profile. They offer consistent heating and require less maintenance than a bulb warmer. They're not as common as bulb warmers, but there are still a variety of designs available!

plug-in wax warmers
A smaller style of the light bulb wax warmer, plug-in warmers attach directly to the outlet with no cord. The smaller diameter of the dish and lower wattage of the bulb will result in less fragrance than standard wax warmers. They are intended for offices, bathrooms, or other small rooms with limited counter space.
